Condolences
Kate McLaughlin For Karen and Bill September 16, 2009

All summer, every few weeks, I've been thinking, "I have to get a card for the first anniversary of JC's passing..." For some reason I thought it would be this fall. Now I deeply regret that I had the date wrong. I got a card last night and went online to confirm the date...

I never knew or met JC, but I know he had a very fine mind and loved his family dearly (like you, Karen). The loss of such a person is a loss to all of us, not just for you who were lucky to know him. I still feel this loss, and I'll do my best to carry on a small part of his legacy of love and humor.

Love,

Kate

Tami Weiler To Dan September 17, 2008

Dan, this is Tami (Case), I just learned of JC's passing.  Dan, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I remember you and JC being as close as brothers can be while we were in high school.  And I'll never forget our trip to Chicago for your wedding...JC was a complete blast to be around.  I just recently came across several pictures of that trip.  Although my memories of JC are somewhat seasoned,  I remember him being a very thoughtful and kind person.  I can't even imagine what you must be going through as each day passes.  It's my hope your memories will sustain you through this difficult transition in your life.  Know that you and your family are in my prayers and I hope we can connect sometime soon...when you're ready of course.  I'm in the book, we live in Tumwater.

Much love to you,

Tami Weiler

Amy So sorry September 15, 2008

I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss. JC was loved and respected by many and I think of those that are close to him often. My heart goes out to you all and I will always remember how much he loved his daughters and feel blessed to have had my last conversation with him where he shared how much they meant to him. I wish you peace and comfort in your memories of JC. Amy Ferrell
Ginny Nathan DeBlieck For the family September 1, 2008

I am truly sorry for the loss of JC.  The loss is felt far away and near.  I have fond memories of little JC.  Although I did not know JC as a adult man, summers and childhood is lasting for me.  One of my fondest is from Wendt street.  Down in your basement was a racetrack and JC was precise in his thoughts and decisions and at that time a wonderful racer.  But one time Marty Billy Dan, and JC and I were down playing with it and a car flew off the track and across the room and we were worried if Big Jon was around and there he stood on the Stairs.  We ran like mice.

I laugh now but  we almost wet our pants.

God Bless you all and much love to you

Ginny & Hunter DeBlieck
